The detection of hazardous gases has always been a complex subject, making the selection of the appropriate sensor, instrument, or equipment a difficult task. Sigma offers infrared sensor technology and catalytic sensors for flammable gases.

The sigmaguard flammable series gas detectors are employed to detect, in an atmosphere mainly composed of air, either the presence of flammable compounds, in terms of percentage of the Lower Explosion Level (% LEL) .

The professional Catalytic sensor (Pellistor) employed for the flammable Gas detection, shows an excellent output  linearity up to 100 % LEL as well as a superior repeatability and durability sigmaguard’s  local and remote alarm capability, as well as, that the unit can function as stand alone or as part of a central control system, makes it ideal for these applications as it is easy to use and requires very little maintenance.

Model SG100

Model SG100 Flammable gas detector

Model SG100 is a hand held Gas Leak Digital Detector with a goose neck flexible probe which is equipped at the tip with a semiconductor gas sensor to detect gas leaks in fuel systems, piping, and appliances.The device responds to CH4 (Methane), LPG (mixture of isobutane and isopropane) and to other combustible gases (hydrocarbons). The measured concentration appears on the large backlit display in a choise of measuring units (ppm, % VOL , % LEL). It is supplied with a case.
