The HD-15 offers a huge flow from a relatively small single phase motor and it has been designed specifically for use as a contractor’s pump in site applications where the water contains sand and silt in suspension. For this use, the 1.15kW motor is supplied in 110volts and will use a 16amp plug connection. For other applications, it is also supplied in 230 volts and it will use a 13amp plug connection. With a continuously rated motor, this pump is also suitable for use in large ponds and for water features. For added convenience, cumbersome external control boxes are not required because the design features an integral capacitor and motor protection. To withstand the rigours of site use, water features etc. the impeller, suction cover and pump casing are constructed in wear resistant ductile iron and the motor frame is in 304 stainless steel. The motor head cover is in regular cast iron. The 410 stainless steel shaft is fitted with an ultra hardwearing, silicon carbide, double mechanical seal (in an oil chamber). Supplied with 10 metres of heavy duty rubber power cable.
