Problem Compressor Overheating of Discharged Air in Marine

If the temperature of the discharged compressed air is high, it can be because of overheating caused as a result of the following reasons:

  1. Chocked or dirty intercooler tube.
  2. Cooling water pump capacity decreased or insufficient.
  3. The atmosphere at air suction of compressor is hot.
  4. No forced ventilation for fresh air near the compressor.
  5. Damage in the head gasket.
  6. Chocked air suction filter.
  7. Valves of 1st or 2nd stage leaking.
