Pressure Transmitters for Aggressive Fluids for Marine and Offshore

Pressure transmitters IPS-G Series for aggressive fluids are designed to measure the relative pressure and convert it into an electrical output (4…20mA) or (0…3, 0…5, 0…10Vdc). The pressure sensor in the product has a stainless steel membrane (316SS) which makes the pressure transmitter suitable for measuring the pressure of aggressive fluids – acids, bases, chemical reagents and others.The housing is stainless steel, IP 65 and IP 68 are provided.

What Is a Pressure Transmitter?

A pressure transmitter, often called a pressure transducer or sensor, is a device used to measure and convert mechanical or hydraulic pressure into an electrical signal. The electrical signal can be used to display the pressure measurement on a display or sent to a controller, PLC or data acquisition system for further processing. This pressure measurement can be used for a variety of purposes, including fluid control, fluid monitoring, and air pressure measurement.

They can be used to measure and monitor pressure, control and adjust pressure, and provide alarms and warnings of pressure changes.
