5-12NM+ Solar Marine Lantern
The SL-C500 and SL-C600 models are large solar powered marine lanterns with a visible range of 5-12NM and a service life of over 12 years.
The power supply is made from UV stabilised polyethylene and holds four (4) premium-grade solar modules and a large internal battery. The solar and battery power supply provides an increased working autonomy and is suitable for more demanding user requirements or low sunlight regions.
The solar powered lantern uses the SL-155 as a light-source, boasting a range of features including multiple lens divergences and PC programming.
The SL-C500 and SL-C600 is also available with GSM for remote monitoring and control, or integrated Type 1 and Type 3 AIS.
The user-friendly, 2-piece design allows the lantern to be opened for convenient battery inspection or replacement whilst the base remains fixed to the supporting structure.
The SL-C500 lanterns may also be fitted with a GSM Cell-Phone Monitoring and Control System – enabling users to access real-time diagnostics data and change lantern settings via cell-phone. The system can also be configured to send out alarm SMS text messages to designated cellular telephone numbers. Users can also have alarms and reports sent to designated email addresses.
The SL-C500 lanterns are available with a class-leading integrated, low-powered Type 1 or Type 3 AIS. When fitted, the AIS is encapsulated within the body of the SL-155 to maintain the weatherproof integrity. Note: With integrated AIS, the lanterns visible range may be reduced. The IR Remote Control is used to communicate with the Sealite lighting products that have an IR Sensor fitted. The remote control is used for the following functions:
