EWFM’s Swivel Joint 2174 is the most basic of the standard range. The Carbon steel swivel offers a cost effective solution for relieving pipe articulation of stress and fatigue. Primarily used as part of EWFM’s hydrocarbon and LPG loading arms, the swivel has now been used in many other applications, some include steam, chemical and nuclear.
Furthermore the model 2174 series Swivel Joint consists of a double row of ball bearings on hardened and ground tracks with Nitrile or Viton seals. In addition the hardened and ground tracks gives the swivel longevity even under significant loads hence its perfect for heavy duty applications. Supplied either disassembled for weld end or assembled when flanged. Most of all the model 2174 series Swivel Joint simple design makes it easy to maintain. In addition a grease nipple allows quick and easy lubrication.
